Arian Systems Inc. / Techconsultant.ca is seeking a Project Engineer level 3 for a major Oil and Gas client.

Role Summary:
Provide technical engineering support and project coordination to complete assigned work scope on time and within budget, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards.

Key Duties:

• Project Coordination: Lead the development of key project deliverables (e.g., EMCAPS Gate 3) and the Functional Interaction Plan.

• Contractor & Procurement Support: Participate in tender development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection. Assist in sourcing long-lead equipment.

• Interface Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Project Team and the Contractor.

• Issue & Change Management: Coordinate the project issues resolution process and manage change requests.

• Quality & Compliance: Engage with team and functional resources to verify design and construction meet project specifications and standards.

• Project Execution: Ensure smooth transitions between project stages and lead the team in applying Project Management Systems.

• Backup Support: Provide backup for the Project Manager as required.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in an engineering field.

• Broad experience in engineering, construction, project management, and controls.

• Multi-discipline skill set with a broad knowledge of design standards and work processes.

• Proficient in the MS Office suite of software programs.

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

• Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational, coordination, and interface skills.

• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequently changing priorities.
